Term 1 lessons have already started, so make sure you contact us to secure your bookings.

Staffing Changes

We were sad to bid farewell to Nicole Lavender from the Office team, as Nicole and her family have relocated to the Gold Coast in January. She will be missed!

Our 2018 Office Team is Erin Mooney, Belinda Croft and Sara Kent.

We welcome Sara, our newest instructor and office assistant. She comes to FAA after 15 years at the Palmwoods Pool.

Our teaching and coaching team comprises Sue, Chris E, Laine, Sara, Belinda, David, Rod with our FAA Directors, Jan Cameron and Chris Mooney, overseeing the entire program. We have a massive wealth of experience in this team, with a combined experience of over 140 years!! We are proud of the knowledge and experience they bring, which culminates into Flinders Aquatic Academy being the”Leaders in Aquatic Education on the Sunshine Coast”.

Infant Aquatics

INFANT AQUATICSWe have expanded our Infant Aquatics Program and opened new classes, thanks to an influx of enquiries!

We cater for babies 3 months until 3 years of age, in the Infant Aquatic Program.

Don’t forget – babies 3 months to 6 months of age swim for free!

Caps and Goggles

Do you have a Flinders Aquatic Academy Cap? They look great in the water! All levels from Dory through to Dolphins should now be wearing caps and goggles – available for purchase at the Kiosk.

Wearing caps assists the filters in not being clogged with hair, and the water is cleaner without hair products emptying into the pool. It also helps keep hair off shoulders, neck and eyes, making streamlining more efficient.
